Whose emotions are you feeling?

This bit of info is a perfect accompaniment to my Empath blog last week …..

Learn to ID whose emotions you are feeling. Allow yourself to be grounded, clear, and seated within yourself.

This practice is called the Empathic Differentiation Exercise.

This is most effective when you’ve just had an experience of emotional contagion – when you’ve been infected by someone else’s emotions and can’t figure out how YOU feel.

Following an intense interaction with someone …… Check in with yourself. You know what it feels like when your own emotions are present in your body, and where they are present. Now ask yourself the same questions, adding in the following: is there a “humming” in my nervous system

Studio Opening Update
We are so grateful for the incredible amount of support and patience that we have received throughout our journey to offer a new and improved studio. As we move into our closing stages, we would ask for a little more patience to finish our new home, and are hoping to be ready to jump on the mat during the week of April 25th! We understand that transitions are difficult, as we all have displacement, and wondering when this will end! We are all in this same place, and send gratitude to all. We know it will be SO worth the wait. We maintain offering our WCH members free classes for the first month open, and will be extending class card expires.
